Another instrument from Flight Music, the Diana Electro-Acoustic Tenor. It has a solid Cedar top, with figured walnut back and sides and a beautiful open head stock.
Gold Tuners and a stunning gloss finish. The color of the walnut sides and back is hard to describe, a gloss brown, accented with a red line going up the middle. It is absolutely beautiful.
The Nut and Saddle are of real bone, Neck is of Okoume and the Fretboard is of Purplewood. It has a striking Abalone Rosette, which accents the Cedar top beautifully. Nut width, 35mm.
The Diana has a Double Active Pickup with Tone Controls, ready for plug and play on the Open Mic floor and in Studio. I get great results, both ways. Whether plugged in to an amp / PA system, or to an Interface in studio.
It comes with Worth Brown Fluorocarbon Strings! This is a rarity, it’s the only uke I know of that is strung this way, out of the box. In fact, the first thing I do with any uke I buy is to re-string with fluorocarbons, specifically Worth Browns Great bonus, right out of the box.
As with all Flight Instruments, you get a nice padded Gig Bag, Instruction Booklet and Sticker pack in every box. Sound quality is far beyond it’s price tag and far beyond those in it’s range … this is my view, after having owned and played this in both Studio and Stage.
