This beautiful, glossy Tenor uke sounds and plays far beyond it’s class and price tag. It sounds great, it is a joy to hold and behold. I ordered it from The Ukulele Site in Hawaii, in order to get the best possible setup, with Worth fluorocarbons and a Low G. Later restrung it with Worth Browns.
This beautiful Instrument sounds as good as it looks. It has a full, rich tone and projects well. Perfect for live performance and excellent for studio work, whether plugged in or mic-ed.
Installed a K&K BL Spot, passive pickup, so I can Plug-and-Play at Open Mics. Later replaced that with a MiSi Trio, since I can never leave well enough alone.

I love this Ziricote, with all it’s random swerves and curves. To my eye, it is absolutely beautiful. Because of the nature of this wood, you’ll never see the same pattern in any other instrument. Each will vary, some will vary wildly.

Here’s the Pickup I installed. Could have found a different ukulele with built in Pickup, EQ and Cutaway, etc. … but I loved this particular uke and it was worth the extra effort.

As of 2020, this model is no longer being produced, though you can still find them around. I’ve seen a few on Reverb and elsewhere.
